It was a big weekend for the Bantam Varsity Green and White teams in Vernon. Both teams came away with 4 solid wins in league action. The BV Green team is undefeated and leads the division with it’s nine game win streak and 18 points. BV White posted a new win streak with the 4 wins and boasts a 7-1-1 record with 14 points and hold 3rd place with 15 points.
On Friday, Sammy May and Holden Cardinal netted 2 goals and an assist each, while Alec Scouras added another as BV Green defeated POE 5-3. Alex Serraglio, Zach Sherwin, Landon Walter and Jacob Sherwood pitched in with helpers for the win. Nathan Kirkpatrick pushed away 28 of 31 shots that came his way.
BV White blanked IHA 8-0 as Kai Daniells scored three times, while Nelson Griffiths stopped all 18 shots he faced as Delta Hockey Academy White blanked the International Hockey Academy by a 8-0 score on Friday evening.
Carson Merriman, Luke Pakulak, Pierce Lee and Liam Tanner added goals for the win.

Early Saturday morning BV Green scored 6 goals in the 3rd period to upend Edge 12-1. A balanced attacked with scoring and helpers across the team as well outshooting their opponents 64-8 resulted in the lopsided win.
Later Saturday night the BV Green outshot their opponent 58-30 as they defeated IHA 10-1. Alec Scouras (3 goals and an assist) and Trevor Thurston (3 goals) led the attack while Carson Latimer added 2 goals and an assist. Landon Walter found the back of the net and added a helper while Austin Ungurean also added a single. Holden Cardinal (5), Zach Sherwin (2), Sammy May (2), Carson Hemenway (2), Alex Serraglio (1) all added helpers on the win.
Connor Schultz led the attack with 2 goals and an assist for BV White on Saturday as the DHA dumped POE 6-3. Luke Pakulak, Nicholas Kovacs and Ethan Urquhart added a goal and an assist each while Luke Chakrabarti added a single.
Saturday afternoon BV White upended Edge School 7 – 1. Luke Pakulak led the attack with 3 goals. Connor McColman, Kai Daniels and Luke Chakrabarti added a goal and an assist and Connor Merriman netted a single.
On Sunday BV Green downed POE 5-3 and BV White defeated IHA 5-2. Roan Clarke of the White saved 18 of 20 shots that came his way while Nathan Kirkpatrick pushed away 43 of 45 shots that came his way for the Green win and a clean sweep on the weekend.
