Delta Wins Prep Division Championship
Isaac Embree scored twice and added an assist as the Delta Hockey Academy captured the CSSHL Prep Division Championship with a 6-4 win over the BWC Hockey Academy on Sunday afternoon at the South Okanagan Events Centre.
Budy, Delta power past Yale for seventh straight win
Brendan Budy scored once and setup three others as the Delta Hockey Academy closed out the regular season with their seventh straight victory, defeating the Yale Hockey Academy by a 6-1 score in Prep Division action on Saturday.
Comrie commits to University of Denver
Delta Hockey Academy is proud to announce and would like to congratulate defenseman Sean Comrie on committing to the University of Denver. In 33 games this season, Comrie has posted 31 points (13-18-31) and 18 penalty minutes.

Devon Vorster (Richmond, BC) scored twice and setup another as the Delta Hockey Academy skated to their sixth straight victory with a 6-4 win over the Pursuit of Excellence in Canadian Sport School Hockey League Prep Division action on Saturday afternoon.
Taylor, Kemp lift Delta to win over Burnaby
Forty-two saves from Ty Taylor (Richmond, BC) and three points from Andrew Kemp (Richmond, BC) propelled the Delta Hockey Academy to a 3-2 win over the BWC Hockey Academy on Friday afternoon at the Pacific Coliseum in Canadian Sport School Hockey League Prep Division action.
Trailing 2-1 after 20 minutes, Kemp tallied twice in the middle stanza to put Delta (29-4-1) out in front. Bradley Ong added a first period marker for Delta, which scored all three of their goals on the man-advantage.
Angus Crookshank (North Vancouver, BC) and Brady Chin (Burnaby, BC) provided the offence for Burnaby (27-3-2), scoring their 36th and ninth goals of the season respectively.
The 42 saves from Taylor, who is now 14-3-0 on the season, are a season high as he stopped 21 shots in the third period alone.
Nico Lopes (West Vancouver, BC) stopped 18-of-21 in the Burnaby crease.
Kelleway, Wilson lift Delta to shootout win over Shawnigan
Nick Wilson (Surrey, BC) scored the shootout winner as the Delta Hockey Academy edged Shawnigan Lake School by a 3-2 score on Sunday morning in Canadian Sport School Hockey League Prep Division action. For more information click here.
DHA Prep go 2-1-1 in Weekend Showcase
After losing a tight battle 2 -1 in OT to the OHA Red on the opening day of the Showcase, the Delta Prep 15 game winning streak came to a halt. The team went 2-1-1- in the Burnaby/Delta Showcase over the weekend.
Delta extends streak to 15, shuts out Coeur d’ Alene
Sean Comrie paced the Delta Wild with one goal and an assist as DHA shut out Coeur d’ Alene 5-0. Jeremy Kelleway posted his fourth shutout on the season stopping all 12 shots. The win extends the Wild streak to 15 games with a 24-3-0 record, 48 points and first place in the division.
DHA congratulates Brendan Budy
DHA would like to congratulate Brendan Budy #25, on committing to the Langley Rivermen of the BCHL for the 2016/17 season. In 21 games with the Delta Wild this season, Budy has 36 points, posting 17 goals and 19 assists. Good luck Brendan!
