Boomers Restaurant is excited to announce the launch of the DHA Reloadable Meal Card, available exclusively at Boomers to support our hockey academy athletes with healthy, affordable meals. The card makes it easy to preload funds, swipe, and enjoy — ensuring athletes always have quick access to the meals that fuel their performance.

How it works:

  • Preload $60 (or more) to cover several meals.
  • Reload anytime in person at Boomers or by contacting us via email: jona.sumague@planetice.ca
  • Athletes simply swipe the card and enjoy.
  • Performance-focused core meals $15 each:
    • Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli
    • Chicken Quesadilla with Mexican Corn Salad
    • Chicken Tenders with half fries and half broccoli
    • Chicken Shaker Bowls (Fusion blend rice bowls)
    • One seasonal special — chef’s choice rotation (price varies by item)
  • Beverage add-ons to fuel training and recovery:
    • Fruit-Based Smoothies (+$5.00, protein +$1.50, PB/Choc excluded)
    • Gatorade (+$2.75)
    • Pop (+$1.00)

To order, please contact: Jona Sumague, Food & Beverage Manager, Boomers Bar & Grill: jona.sumague@planetice.ca. In the email please specify the name of the athlete, day/date and time of pick up.

Travel Insurance

All student-athletes travelling outside of Canada with the Delta Hockey Academy are required to have travel insurance. If you do not already have travel insurance through your family’s insurance plan, you can purchase short-term travel insurance from TuGo prior to your trip at this link.

International Student Travel

All International students travelling across the USA Border by land will require both a ESTA and an I-94 Form. The ESTA must be completed and approved first, then the I-94 form requires activation at the border.
