The Wild Prep team dumped the Edge School for Athletes twice on the weekend propelling them in to first place with a 15-4-1 record. DHA netted 4 unanswered goals on Saturday to down Edge School 5-2 and 5 unanswered goals in the third period on Sunday to finish off the competition 7-2.

Brendan Budy commits to University of Denver
DHA would like to congratulate Prep forward Brendan Budy on his commitment to the University of Denver. Fifteen year old Budy has 36 points in 21 games, helping the Wild to a 24-3-0 record and a 15 game winning streak so far on the season.

Dylan Cozens had a four-point game as the Delta Hockey Academy cruised to a 9-0 win over Shawnigan Lake School in Canadian Sport School Hockey League Bantam Prep Division action on Sunday morning.
Delta extends streak to 15, shuts out Coeur d’ Alene
Sean Comrie paced the Delta Wild with one goal and an assist as DHA shut out Coeur d’ Alene 5-0. Jeremy Kelleway posted his fourth shutout on the season stopping all 12 shots. The win extends the Wild streak to 15 games with a 24-3-0 record, 48 points and first place in the division.
DHA Alum Colin Grannary commits to Nebraska-Omaha
DHA would like to congratulate alum Colin Grannary who has just committed to the University of Nebraska-Omaha for the 2016/17 year. Grannary currently plays for the Merritt Centennials in the BCHL and most recently was awarded MVP for Team West in the CJHL Prospect’s Game on January 26th. The Delta, BC product played one season in the CSSHL, tallying 52 points (25-27-52) in 27 games with the Delta Hockey Academy Prep team during the 2013-14 season.

DHA Alumni pair to play in Top Prospects’ Games
DHA congratulates Alumni forwards Ty Ronning (Vancouver Giants WHL) who will play for Team Red (Cherry) in the CHL Top Prospect’s Game at 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 28 at the Pacific Coliseum and Colin Grannary (Merritt Centennials BCHL) who will suit up with Team West in the CJHL Top Prospects game at 7:05 pm on Tuesday, January 26 at South Surrey Memorial Arena.
