Sean Comrie paced the Delta Wild with one goal and an assist as DHA shut out Coeur d’ Alene 5-0. Jeremy Kelleway posted his fourth shutout on the season stopping all 12 shots. The win extends the Wild streak to 15 games with a 24-3-0 record, 48 points and first place in the division.
DHA would like to congratulate alum Colin Grannary who has just committed to the University of Nebraska-Omaha for the 2016/17 year. Grannary currently plays for the Merritt Centennials in the BCHL and most recently was awarded MVP for Team West in the CJHL Prospect’s Game on January 26th. The Delta, BC product played one season in the CSSHL, tallying 52 points (25-27-52) in 27 games with the Delta Hockey Academy Prep team during the 2013-14 season.

DHA would like to congratulate Brendan Budy #25, on committing to the Langley Rivermen of the BCHL for the 2016/17 season. In 21 games with the Delta Wild this season, Budy has 36 points, posting 17 goals and 19 assists. Good luck Brendan!
DHA congratulates Alumni forwards Ty Ronning (Vancouver Giants WHL) who will play for Team Red (Cherry) in the CHL Top Prospect’s Game at 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 28 at the Pacific Coliseum and Colin Grannary (Merritt Centennials BCHL) who will suit up with Team West in the CJHL Top Prospects game at 7:05 pm on Tuesday, January 26 at South Surrey Memorial Arena.
Ty Taylor stopped all 30 shots he faced, while seven different players found the back of the net as the Delta Hockey Academy shutout the Pacific Coast Hockey Academy 7-0 on Sunday morning in action.
Tyler Chyzowski (South Surrey, BC) scored twice as the Delta Hockey Academy skated away with a 3-1 win over the BWC Hockey Academy on Sunday morning in Canadian Sport School Hockey League Elite 15s Division action.
Buddy Johnson (South Surrey, BC) scored twice, while Ryan Deighton (South Surrey, BC) had the shutout as the Delta Hockey Academy skated to a 4-0 decision over the Okanagan Hockey Academy on Sunday morning in Canadian Sport School Hockey League Bantam Varsity Division action.
Garrett Wicks (South Delta, BC) scored twice as the Delta Hockey Academy remains the lone unbeaten team in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League this season as they skated to a 6-2 win over the Okanagan Hockey Academy in Bantam Varsity Division action on Saturday.
In a tight game on Friday night in Penticton the Delta Wild Varsity team edged Okanagan Hockey Academy 2-1, extending their win streak to 15 games. The Wild are undefeated in hockey action this season with a 15-0-0 record.
The Elite 15 team travelled to Edmonton this past weekend to play in a 4 game league showcase. The team put in a strong performance coming away with 4 wins and a showdown with the Northern Alberta Extreme. The Extreme currently hold first place on 4 points ahead of the Wild, but the Wild have a game in hand. Outstanding performances by all players who contributed to the clean sweep.
