Devon Vorster (Richmond, BC) scored twice and setup another as the Delta Hockey Academy skated to their sixth straight victory with a 6-4 win over the Pursuit of Excellence in Canadian Sport School Hockey League Prep Division action on Saturday afternoon.
Vorster, along with Andrew Kemp (Richmond, BC), Jacob Kennedy (Delta, BC / Kelowna Rockets) and Tyler Lauinger (Delta, BC) each found the back of the net in the first period as Delta (30-4-1) opened up a 4-0 lead after 20 minutes.
Vorster and Nick Wilson (Surrey, BC) each tallied second period markers to round out the scoring for Delta, which got 25 saves from Jeremy Kelleway (White Rock, BC), who earned his 16th win of the season.
Matthew Kopperud (Denver, CO) scored twice for Pursuit (18-11-4), while Aiden Buhler (Winnipeg, MB) and Sami Pharaon (North Vancouver, BC) each added a single.
